Acrisure received a 2023 MiBiz Deal of the Year Award earlier this week, becoming the first three-time winner of a corporate M&A award in the 10-year history of the MiBiz program. Earning this award was our $725 million Series B-2 preferred equity raise that valued Acrisure at $23 billion in May of 2022, which was a 31% increase from our last preferred equity raise in March of 2021.
“This capital allowed our record-setting M&A pace to continue and enabled strategic investments in our AI (artificial intelligence) platform, digital marketing and brand awareness,” said Greg Williams, Acrisure Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO.
The M&A Deals and Dealmaker Awards “celebrate outstanding achievements and spotlight best practices related to mergers, acquisitions, capital formation and other types of dealmaking throughout West Michigan.”
Congratulations to everyone behind this outstanding achievement. We look forward to continuing our industry-leading growth that allows us to innovate and adapt to the needs of our clients.
